Bitter End is a genuine bridge to the past. The space opened during prohibition and ‘officially’ has been operating as a bar since the day that it ended in 1933.
We have developed a modern space that is stylized to match the rich history of the building and the town of Etna. A raised lounge area overlooks comfortable tables surrounding a fully stocked bar. Adorned in classic décor with a modern twist, the space will thrust you into the past complete with a tin ceiling, original terrazzo tile floor, a portion of a 1920’s era mural, and black & white tv’s. Both a time capsule of days gone by, and a celebration of the innovation and comfort of today’s world. Bitter End is an homage to the past, present, and future of libations.
We feature craft cocktails and an expansive liquor list with a particular emphasis on whiskey. Our signature cocktails put a spin on classic recipes. Local and PA based distilleries are the backbone of our cocktail program.
Our cold kitchen offers a variety of crafted bar snacks, rotating charcuterie, and small plate options to pair with your favourite cocktail.
